Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

In John 17:22-23, Jesus prayed for those who would later believe in Him (that includes us) “that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.”

I pray that we, all of Jesus’ followers on the earth right now, will surrender to Him to such a degree that He, by His Spirit, can use us to touch the world and change the hearts of those whom He has chosen; so He, by His Spirit, can encourage us, strengthen us, comfort us, and lead us into all truth.
